Hypothetically, if there were two suns or say a mirror reflecting sunlight at a solar panel, would double the incoming light increase the efficiency of the panel? How could I write that as a mathematical equation to prove it? Especially because I'm terrible in algebra / math.
If I covered the glass inside a solar panel with one-way mirror (mirror side away from the sun) material and had the photovoltaic chips spaced apart so mirrors inside could reflect light back at the glass where light enters - creating a prism effect, would that increase power coming from the PV chips inside the panel? Now, heat would increase drawing away from the efficiency of the panel plus there is a voltage drop common to electronics. By increasing the cooling inside the panel, would that also improve efficiency?
